Banking Advisor Wealth

About this role

FirstRand (FNB) is looking for a Banking Advisor Wealth to join its private banking team in Polokwane. You will work with a team of private bankers to look after a portfolio of private wealth clients. The role is about keeping clients happy, finding new business and growing existing relationships.

What you’ll do

• Manage a portfolio of private wealth clients and look for new banking opportunities among them.
• Give clients sound advice based on their needs, current information and market trends.
• Analyse client portfolios and contact clients proactively to support sales.
• Generate new leads, manage your leads pipeline and win new clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Keep accurate records and produce reports that help the business make informed decisions.
• Meet your financial targets and service levels while using resources responsibly.

What you need

• A relevant qualification in banking, finance or a related field (the advert does not name a specific qualification).
• Experience in sales, client service or wealth and private banking.
• Strong knowledge of financial services products, so you can explain and market them well.
• Good stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Solid analytical and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of compliance, legislation and governance requirements in financial services.
• Willingness to request feedback and training to improve your own performance.
