General Worker Requirements:

Minimum Grade 10 qualification.
Required skills include reading and writing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as solid interpersonal skills.
It will be to your advantage if you have previous experience in general cleaning.

General Worker Duties:

Carry out cleaning tasks of a routine nature by making use of a variety of different cleaning aids.
Be ready to clean the floors, wash the windows, clean the bathrooms, and complete any other cleaning tasks that are assigned to you.
Working in shifts
Always be ready to switch tasks, as the supervisor reserves the right to do so whenever they see fit within the parameters of the work.
In addition to assisting with messenger duties, you will be expected to assist with counting clean linen when it is necessary to do so.

The individual in charge of tallying and organizing soiled linen in the wards.
Laundering of soiled linens and towels.
Observe the standard for the management of waste in healthcare.
Occupational Health and Safety standards must be adhered to, including the wearing of all required PPE and PPC (personal protective equipment and personal protective clothing).
The completion of tasks takes place primarily under the watchful eye of the supervisor and calls for a minimum amount of prior instruction.

PLEASE NOTE:
