About this role

Clicks Retailers is recruiting a driver for its Store Operations team. The role is linked to a Clicks pharmacy in Mpumalanga and reports to the Store Manager. Your main job is to get customer parcels to the right people on time and in good condition.

What you’ll do

• Deliver prescription medicines, OTC medicines and healthcare products to patients at homes, clinics, retirement homes and hospitals.
• Handle urgent deliveries first when the pharmacy or Store Manager asks you to.
• Keep fridge items cold on the way, using ice packs or other approved packaging.
• Load and secure parcels so they are not lost, damaged or mixed up. Check the parcel count before you leave.
• Collect signatures and keep delivery records complete and accurate.
• Keep patient information private at all times. Return undelivered items to the dispensary with the right paperwork.
• Look after the company vehicle or e-bike, including cleaning it and charging the battery at the end of each shift. Wear your PPE and report any damage or problems to the Store Manager.

What you need

• Grade 12 (matric pass).
• A valid Code A or A1 driver’s licence.
• Previous driving experience and delivery experience.
• A clean traffic record, with no traffic violations on record.
• A police clearance certificate.
• Advantageous: experience in a customer-facing role in a retail or FMCG store environment.
• Basic knowledge of delivery and pharmacy procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, good planning skills and the ability to work under time pressure.
• Good customer service skills and a high level of honesty and responsibility.
