CLERK DUTIES:

Maintain communication with the various stakeholder contacts in order to get placement chances (Daily).
Access information that may help with the coordination of tasks related to international cross-border labor migration (Daily).
Encourage the registration and certification of private employment agencies, and act as a coordinator for these processes (Daily).
Coordination of large-scale opportunities at the provincial level from important stakeholders (Weekly).

Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by a report from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) that says how well they measure up (only when shortlisted).

All of the shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will have to go through a technical competency exercise that will test them on important technical aspects of the job.
The Department will explain how this will work.

After the interview and technical exercise, the panel will recommend candidates to attend generic managerial competencies using the required DPSA SMS competency assessment tools.
The person who gets the internship will have to sign an Internship performance agreement.
