The Purpose of the Job Description:
To provide excellent service to customers by actively, promptly, and accurately processing transactions using point-of-sale systems.
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process customer orders in accordance with standard operating procedures while providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure that the pace of service is maintained
- Accurately process all forms of payment in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Inform Customers of the Currently Available Promotions in Order to Drive Sales
- Raise average ticket prices through upselling and other suggestive selling strategies.
- Ensure that the areas where customers are served are kept clean and sanitary in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Ensure that FOH Stock is Maintained in Accordance with SOP
MANDATORY CONDITIONS:
- The National Senior Certificate, with preference given to having this.
- Possession of a High School Diploma (required)
- Literacy skills that are well developed
- Strong capabilities in the use of numbers
- A year’s worth of experience working the cash register at a retail establishment, preferably in a quick-service restaurant.

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance certifications, as well as trade exams and experience.
