Function of the Role

Unemployed young people who are interested in joining Metropolitan Life for a Learnership Programme beginning in October 2023 will have the chance to participate in an exciting new opportunity.
This is the perfect opportunity for you if you want to advance your career in the insurance industry, have a strong interest in the fields of sales and customer service, and possess both of those qualities.

The objective of this Learnership program is to provide young people with the opportunity to gain experience working in the insurance industry.
Learners who participate in this learnership will have the opportunity to obtain a Wealth Management NQF level 4 qualification and will also have the chance to work closely with and gain knowledge from professionals working in the insurance industry.

Requirements :

Matric or an equivalent level of education NQF4 certification.
Between the ages of 18 and 35, natural-born citizens of South Africa.
Without a job.
Being a member of a group that has historically been discriminated against.
Applicants who are currently coping with a disability are strongly encouraged to do so.

A List of Duties and Obligations

It is imperative that you finish all of the theoretical learning assessments.
Ensure that all administrative and reporting responsibilities associated with the role are finished on time.
Organize, compile, and disseminate the documents in accordance with the stipulated criteria within the allotted time frames.
To ensure that all client service level agreements are met and exceeded, ensure that all inquiries are handled in a professional manner.
This will help to ensure that customers have a positive experience.
Screen and direct all inquiries received to the appropriate stakeholders, and assist in finding solutions to clients’ questions and problems.
Uphold the pertinent office housekeeping standards at all times.
Notify the Line Manager of any problems or errors with the applications.

Capabilities

Having a keen eye for detail along with strong planning and organization abilities
aptitude for logical reasoning with numbers and analytical abilities.
English comprehension and communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as fluency in the language Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Knowledge of computers.
