Sales Advisor (27-40 Hours) - TBS

About this role

Clicks Group is looking for a Sales Advisor for its store in Hout Bay, Cape Town. The job is about helping customers well, knowing the products, and growing store sales.

What you’ll do

• Help customers find the right products and suggest extra or higher-value items that fit their needs.
• Help the store reach its sales targets through cross-selling and up-selling.
• Follow the store’s operating procedures to cut down on loss and stock shrinkage.
• Keep the shop floor neat and inviting so customers enjoy shopping there.
• Take charge of daily store tasks and promotional events, from setup to follow-through.
• Help build customer loyalty by giving consistently good service.

What you need

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
• Experience in cosmetics (required in the advert’s qualifications section).
• Experience in a retail sales or service environment (advantageous).
• Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to solve problems.
• A good understanding of retail principles and selling skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• A good understanding of stock management.
