Aspiring Financial Adviser

Old Mutual, one of Africa’s leading insurance companies, is hiring an Aspiring Financial Adviser based in Groblersdal, Limpopo. The role helps customers reach their long-term goals by understanding their money needs and giving them sound, practical financial advice.

What you’ll do

• Meet customers and find out what financial needs they have.
• Give clear financial advice that fits each customer’s situation.
• Recommend financial plans and products that suit each customer.
• Put agreed plans and solutions in place for customers.
• Build and keep strong relationships with customers over time.
• Keep sales records and customer information up to date using sales software.

What you need

• NQF Level 4 (Grade 12), a school leaving certificate, or a National or Occupational Certificate, or an equivalent qualification. This is required.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Good customer service and customer focus.
• Skill in asking probing questions and identifying sales opportunities.
• Self-motivation and an entrepreneurial attitude.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly.
