Banking Advisor Wealth

About this role

FirstRand (FNB) is looking for a Banking Advisor Wealth to work in George as part of its Private Banking and Advisory Team. You will help a team of Private Advisors manage a portfolio of FNB Private Wealth clients.

What you’ll do

• Give clients sound advice and recommendations based on their needs, current information and market trends.
• Keep client records up to date and handle administration carefully and on time.
• Prepare reports that track progress and help the business make informed decisions.
• Manage the leads pipeline and follow up on new opportunities.
• Analyse client portfolios and engage clients proactively to support sales.
• Meet financial targets and keep to service levels, while using work resources responsibly.
• Build and manage key stakeholder relationships, and market the full range of financial solutions available in your business offering.

What you need

• A relevant NQF 7 degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• RE5 qualification.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales or service role within a banking or financial environment.
• You must pass a credit record check, as required under the National Credit Act (NCA).
• Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills (implied by the role’s focus on advice, reporting and stakeholder management).
