Job Description
Principal goals associated with the role:
To provide a professional service by assisting with the provision of refreshments at a variety of business meetings, including both the timely delivery of said refreshments and the subsequent cleaning of any associated facilities.
Requirements:
Matric.
Previous experience working in a similar business setting is highly desirable for this position.
Possessing fluency in both English and Afrikaans as means of communication.
Capable of following directions and maintaining a routine.
Planning and organising skills.
Principal responsibilities include:
You are responsible for preparing and making tea and coffee whenever the company requests it; ensuring that drinks are served appropriately with the appropriate condiments; and ensuring that drinks are served hot at all times.
Responsible for putting away all of the crockery after the meeting is over and ensuring that the meeting rooms (such as the board rooms) are kept clean and tidy at all times;
Prepare and deliver tea and coffee to individuals within the organization at the appropriate time for tea and coffee breaks, and make sure that crockery is removed from offices on a regular basis throughout the course of the day;
It is imperative that the kitchen facilities be kept clean and organized;
Indicating to the supervisor when it is time to place an order for supplies such as coffee, tea, milk, etc.
Meet and greet guests at the reception desk, accompany them to the meeting room, and serve them drinks as needed;
Assist with the serving of beverages during meetings at which the CEO, CFO, and company secretary are present;
Help out with various tasks whenever they are needed.
