Job Description

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Claims Handler within the Financial Services department at Knysna, Western Cape.

Job Summary
This role involves managing insurance claims from initial notification through to final settlement, ensuring accurate assessment, timely resolution, and excellent service to clients while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• General administrative duties
• Prepare, issue, and send out insurance claims, arrange for payments on insurance claims
• Regularly capture required information on internal systems, record and update customer claims
• Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems
• Prepare claim reports 

Qualifications and Skills 

• Matric / Grade 12
• At least 3 years’ work experience in short term insurance
• RE5 certificate (advantageous)
• Computer literate
• Advanced skills in excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Deadline driven, good organising and planning skills
