Cleaner

About this role

Raizcorp is looking for a Cleaner for its business centre, The Business Exchange, in Cape Town. The job is about keeping tenant offices and shared spaces spotless, so that tenants, staff and visitors walk into a clean and welcoming building every day.

What you’ll do

• Clean allocated offices, common areas and boardrooms every morning between 07:00 and 08:00, and again in the late afternoon.
• Clean desks, chairs, shelves, coffee stations, kitchens, carpets and high-traffic areas such as coffee machines, microwaves, printer buttons, TVs and monitors.
• Clean boardrooms straight after each meeting, and set them up for the next one.
• Wash dishes, clear crockery and cutlery through the day, and serve tea and coffee to visitors and tenants in boardrooms.
• Empty bins, take waste to collection points, vacuum carpets and spot clean them.
• Report stock levels of tea, coffee, milk, cleaning materials and crockery each week and month, and flag faults, hygiene or safety risks to the Centre Liaison straight away.

What you need

• Grade 12 (matric) is required.
• Proven experience cleaning and looking after corporate office spaces.
• Experience receiving guests is required.
• Basic computer skills are advantageous.
• Good English is advantageous.
• Good verbal communication, a reliable and trustworthy nature, and strong attention to detail.
