Cleaner

About this role

Wheco Group is looking for a cleaner to work in Paarl, Western Cape. The job is part-time, two days a week, and helps keep the workplace clean, safe and welcoming for staff and customers.

What you’ll do

• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, offices and yards.
• Empty waste and recycling bins.
• Clean windows and other areas when needed.
• Clean up spills and messes quickly.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like desks, door handles and phones.
• Follow health and safety procedures, and finish all tasks before the end of your shift.

What you need

• Grade 12.
• Previous cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to use them safely.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Able to work on your own with minimal supervision, and also as part of a team.
• Experience in a workplace, warehouse or similar environment (advantageous).
