Learnership: Maintenance and Production

About this role

Sasol, a global integrated chemicals and energy company, is offering a learnership at its Sasolburg site. The programme combines on-the-job learning with structured classroom training so you can build a trade or operator career from the ground up.

What you’ll do

• Choose one of three learning fields: Mechanical Fitter, Electrician or Chemical Plant Operator.
• Work on site while you learn, with support from experienced staff.
• Attend the structured or institutional learning sessions that form part of the programme.
• Complete all required workplace readiness activities and exercises.
• Work through the assessment process and aim to complete the full programme.
• Follow Sasol’s safety requirements at all times on site.

What you need

• A completed Grade 12 National Senior Certificate with six subjects, including a pass in Technical Mathematics or Mathematics, English, and Technical or Physical Science.
• Or a completed N3 National Senior Certificate with six subjects, including a pass in Mathematics, English and Engineering Science.
• Willingness to commit to a 36-month fixed-term learnership.
