Purposes of the Shop Assistant Cashier Position:
With the goal of maximizing efficiency, perform all point-of-sale operational tasks in a timely manner.

Shop Assistant Cashier Knowledge:
Simple arithmetic calculations
Having worked in retail and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) before, and having a firm grasp of merchandising and promotion principles,
Knowledge of inventory management procedures Superior product and service expertise
Shop Assistant Cashier Skills:
Ability to plan and organize
Competence in solving problems
Strong emphasis on the consumer’s wants and needs
Fluency in both speaking and listening

Grade 12 required education
It’s ideal to have a 50 percent in both Math and English by the time you’re a senior in high school.
