Description

TWK Agri has the accompanying opportunity accessible: Diesel Mechanic inside the Trade Division at Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reassemble agricultural equipment following fix; test activity; and make changes as required
• Look at and pay attention to equipment read review reports, and meet with clients to find and analyze glitches
• Test and replace electrical parts and wiring, utilizing test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools
• Fix or replace inadequate parts, utilizing hand tools, machines, welding equipment, grinders, or saws
• Investigate or test parts to decide nature or reason for imperfections or breakdowns
• Suggest item or part plan upgrades in light of information and perceptions
• Keep up with test equipment in functional condition by performing routine support or making minor fixes or changes on a case by case basis
• Complete all documentation including worksheets, testaments, receipts and applying marks as suitable
• Assess equipment for safety preceding use, and perform important essential upkeep tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric
• Computer literate
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic (red seal)
• 3 years’ insight as a certified Diesel Mechanic
• Experience on agricultural equipment
• Experience on New Holland/Case tractors (beneficial)
• Information on precision planters and precision sprayers (favorable)
• Any related courses on the abovementioned (favorable)
• Able to stay at work past 40 hours and travel
• Substantial drivers licence
