Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires an Casual Merchandiser for their Footpath Shopping center – Gqeberha store. You will guarantee that essential Dis-Chem merchandising standards are appropriately executed and kept up with. Your obligations will likewise lie in giving superb client support.
Requirements:
• Grade 12
• 6 months retail insight
• Computer literate- MS Office
• Willing and ready to work retail hours
Expected set of responsibilities:
• Restock stock as needed to guarantee greatest sales
• Guarantee delivered stock/stock pulled from the storeroom, is stored and packed in the right space timeously
• Guarantee stock on shelves has not expired
• Guarantee the full range of items is on the shelves consistently
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular, FIFO premise
• Report low stock levels, unavailable things, damaged stock and expired stock to the management
• Help with counting of stock documents and general stocktaking
• Stick to Dis-Chem’s working norms, store format and planograms
• Guarantee boxes are straightened after unpacking of stock, and taken to the assigned region
• Guarantee front shop shelves and items are conveniently introduced and apparent consistently, with right names and pricing
• Report all price errors to the board
• Stay up to date with current and new items
• Guarantee merchandising displays are built, looked up, stocked and maintained
• Keep up with day to day actual upkeep of store and product shows, and be answerable for your assigned stock in the storeroom as well as on the shop floor
• Help with loading and off-loading of stock
• Guarantee things without scanner tags are obviously losses by dealing with all product cautiously
• Comply with Dis-Chem arrangements and methods, SOPs and Health and Safety rules and guidelines
