Detailed Account of the Duties Involved

To provide excellent service to customers by achieving maximum results in terms of the amount of merchandise that is turned over as well as the amount of service that is provided to customers through the presentation of products.
To lend a hand to management in the day-to-day operations of the store and assist them in accomplishing their goals.
Strong focus placed on the customer as well as the service that is being provided.

Sales Assistant Qualifications :

Matric or Grade 12/National Senior Certificate

Sales Assistant Knowledge, skill, and experience gained from actual practice

Only those with previous experience in sales are allowed to apply.

Sales Assistant Competencies/ Skills

Devoted to delighting customers with the quality of service provided.
Working in conjunction with other individuals as a member of a group or team.
The capacity to organize one’s daily activities in an efficient manner.
The capacity to operate various types of computers.
Attention to detail.
Interactional skills, both with other people and with clients or customers.
The ability to withstand the negative effects of stress.
characterized by a high degree of integrity as well as initiative respectively.

Sales Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

Meeting daily, monthly, and weekly sales quotas without falling short of expectations
The protection of all assets, including stock, cash, and physical assets;
The efficient implementation of company policies and procedures;
The protection of employees and customers.
Effective implementations store/ department layout.

Providing assistance to the client.
Check to see that the appropriate administrative procedures for the stock room, markdowns, and layaways are being followed at all times.
Make sure that the cleaning of the house and the restocking of the inventory are done in an efficient manner.
