You will need:

Grade 12 Mathematics (not literacy) & Science with a Minimum E symbol, with the two N2 exchange associated subjects
Minimum N2 with applicable four change associated subjects

Trade concept in the applicable alternate utilized for:
Diesel Mechanic (Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Diesel or Motor Trade Theory)
Fitter (Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Fitting & Machining Theory)
Electrician (Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory)

Minimum Symbol E (40%) (subjects with F symbols will no longer be accepted)
Candidates should be capable and organized to endure a psychometric assessment
Must be in a position and inclined to work shifts, standby & name outs when required

Be in a position to cope with pressure, be modern & a self-starter
Be in a position to become aware of faults besides supervision
A legitimate K53 provincial driver’s license
Must be in possession or capable to attain a certificates of fitness
