Rand Water invites suitably qualified and previously disadvantaged individuals who are interested in joining the water sector to apply for the Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Operations Learnership Programme:
NQF Level 2. Location – Site Rietvlei Location – Site Rietvlei

Learnership Minimum Requirements

Before applying, applicants must ensure that they meet each of the following minimum entrance criteria:

All applicants are required to be currently jobless.
Applicants are not allowed to be enrolled in any qualification programs at any institutions, nor are they allowed to be registered in any learnership programs.
Candidates are not permitted to have any post-matriculation qualifications that have been successfully completed.
Applicants who already hold a degree or certificate above the matriculation level are not allowed to apply and will not be evaluated.

The applicants are required to have a Matriculation (also known as a Grade 12 diploma) with both Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum of Level 4 in ALL subjects).
Applicants are required to be citizens of South Africa and to be in possession of a current SA ID card.
Age requirements for applicants range from 18 to 35 years old (in line with the NSDSIII).

Your application must be accompanied by all of the following documents:

1.An official copy of the identification document
2.Original or certified copy of the Matricula (Grade 12)
3.Documentary evidence of a person’s place of residence

Learnership Obligations

As a student, it is expected of you to finish your qualification in the shortest amount of time possible and in accordance with the terms of the contract agreement for the allotted amount of time.
