We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Handyman to perform a variety of upkeep and repair tasks across our facilities. This role involves maintaining green spaces, responding to maintenance requests, performing light construction, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of working independently to ensure all maintenance operations run efficiently and safely

Minimum Requirements
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
Physically fit, with good stamina and manual dexterity
Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
Professional appearance and demeanour
Positive, customer-focused attitude with a high level of service orientation
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Experience in basic plumbing, electrical work, and general handyman tasks
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

Duties and Responsibilities
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Respond promptly to breakdowns and malfunctions of plant, machinery, and equipment
Clean and maintain facilities, including sweeping, dusting, and general tidiness
Perform general maintenance and minor repairs to lighting fixtures and fittings
Conduct painting and filling work on walls, sidewalks, and other surfaces
Install or repair basic structures, such as cabinets, shelving, or carpets
Repair and service equipment, appliances, and tools
Assist skilled tradespeople with plumbing, electrical, or HVAC repairs
Identify and report maintenance or painting requirements
Maintain safety records and conduct routine safety inspections
Perform regular checks and maintenance on water pressure systems
Ensure emergency equipment is operational at all times
Complete maintenance logs and documentation accurately
Maintain clean, safe, and hazard-free work environments
Report and escalate any major repair requirements
Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
