About this role
Hire Resolve is recruiting on behalf of an established supplier of warehouse and material handling equipment based in Boksburg, Gauteng. The role focuses on growing the customer base through internal sales and building lasting client relationships.
What you’ll do
- Find and follow up on new business opportunities to grow the customer base.
- Build and look after strong relationships with existing clients.
- Visit clients, and run product demonstrations and presentations when needed.
- Hit sales targets and keep sales growing.
- Prepare accurate quotations, sales reports and forecasts.
- Keep an eye on market trends and what competitors are doing.
- Give customers good service and clear, professional product advice, and follow up on leads and quotations until they turn into sales.
What you need
- At least 3 years of internal sales experience.
- Experience in industrial equipment, warehouse equipment or material handling (highly advantageous).
- Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.
- Good customer relationship management and business development skills.
- Computer literacy, especially in MS Office.
- Experience with Sage or Pastel (advantageous).
- A valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
- A proactive attitude, a professional approach and strong self-motivation.
- Willingness and potential to grow into a Second-in-Command (2IC) position.
