About this role
Hire Resolve is recruiting a Junior C# Developer on behalf of a leading forward freight and logistics company in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. The role is about growing as a developer while you work in a larger development team. You will work with teammates and clients on software that already runs in the business and on new solutions the company plans to build.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, test and implement software solutions for the company.
- Provide support to internal users and to clients.
- Write clean, high-performing code and keep it maintainable.
- Develop, maintain and roll out software tools, processes and procedures.
- Research and test new technologies and report on what you find.
- Spot areas that can be improved and work with developers from other teams to choose the best solutions.
- Document software solutions and processes, and follow strict source control procedures.
What you need
- A BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
- A relevant qualification or related experience.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
- Ability to work through complicated problems and make logical sense of them.
- Working knowledge of C#, .NET, MS SQL Server, REST APIs, GraphQL and WCF.
- Advantageous: experience with GitLab.
- Advantageous: experience with Boomi.
