About this role
Hire Resolve is recruiting on behalf of a client in Cape Town. The role supports structural design work across several projects, including detailing, technical drawings and site inspections.
What you’ll do
- Help with structural design work on live projects.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings.
- Work on structural detailing so designs are buildable.
- Carry out site inspections and report on what you find.
- Use AutoCAD and other structural design and drafting software.
- Apply SANS standards, building regulations and sound engineering practice to your work.
What you need
- National Diploma in Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a structural engineering environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant structural design or drafting software.
- Sound knowledge of SANS standards, building regulations and engineering best practice.
- Revit experience (advantageous).
