Junior Merchandiser Intern

About this role

Managed People Solutions is recruiting a Junior Merchandiser Intern for its team in Paarl, Western Cape. The internship is a hands-on way to start a career in liquor and retail, working with well-known brands in stores.

What you’ll do

• Check which stock needs merchandising and make sure the right products are on the shop floor.
• Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing.
• Set up displays in line with the company’s merchandising standards.
• Keep accurate merchandising records.
• Spot out-of-stock items and report them to management and your Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
• Pass on customer issues and requests.
• Visit stores on the set call cycle and stay up to date with product knowledge and promotions.

What you need

• An N6 certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.
• You must be under 28 years old.
• You must be currently unemployed.
• You must not have done a similar internship before.
• An energetic, reliable and detail-oriented approach.
