Job Purpose

Help Artisan with day to day maintenance and different obligations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate
• Applicable technical experience.
• 1-2 years involvement with a comparative job
• Substantial driver’s permit
• Solid mechanical and electrical experience with the two fields is fundamental
• Troubleshooting is fundamental
• Legitimate trade certificate will be advantageous
• Relevant knowledge and expertise
• Be willing to work overtime
• Able to travel between offices (Upington, Douglas and Magogong)
• Clear Criminal Record
• In great shape

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform basic electrical obligations as according to request and under supervision including the utilization of electrical hand equipment (grinder, drill, test meters)
• Cleaning of cables and electrical equipment during everyday maintenance
• Offer an excellent quality of work in a flawless way
• Ready to go through training towards qualification
• Act preventively with inspections (including vehicles), reporting of imperfections and essential repairs to Supervisor
• Guarantee consistence with relevant Health and Safety, Sanitation and Quality Management and Legislation under supervision of the Senior Technician
• Help with co-ordination of pecan season activities
• General maintenance
• Help with inspection and repair work on equipment and tools
• Help with new electrical establishments as well as establishment of new machines
• Assist everything regions where support is required;
• Guarantee brilliant service delivery
• Be a GWK ambassador and a decent cooperative person.
