Post Description

Library and Media/ study Centre Trainee

• Use and maintain computer library database to help locate library materials;
• Ordering and purchasing of resources for media centre;
• Assist learners with use of Media Computers;
• Responsible for media related correspondence;
• Issue and receive resources from learners and staff members;
• Keep and control attendance register of learners using the media centre;
• Control reservation for the use of the media centre purpose;
• Make recommendations for purchasing of stock and resources for the media centre;
• Make and control copying for learners and lecturers;
• Assist with the media centre stock audit;
• Control the subject files;
• Reporting on media centre operations;
• Control examination bank files;
• Perform routine tasks such as answering phone calls and organizing files and other related duties.
