Job Description

Grain Field Chickens, an auxiliary of VKB Agriculture (PTY)Ltd, is a unique job player in the coordinated broiler industry with an abattoir in Reitz in the North Eastern Free State. We offer you the chance to set up a good foundation for yourself inside an expert, professional workplace in the open country.

Job Purpose

The successful incumbent will be liable for helping an artisan on the everyday duties.

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• N2 Mechanical Engineering Qualification will be profitable.
• A readiness to work shifrs and extra time, incl. weekends and occasions where important.
• 2 Years experience in a comparative situation in a chicken abattoir will be a benefit.
• Forklift permit will be a benefit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will be the assistant to the artisan.
• Will be responsible for keeping up with, cleaning, and sorting of the workshop.
• Should be accessible on weekends for maintenance work.
• Should have the option to work shifts.
• Capacity to work under pressure.
