Job Description

Haval Kempton Park offers reasonable competitors an Accredited Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) Apprenticeship, which is a mix of on-the-job training (OJT) and related classroom guidance under the supervision of a Qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic. Imperial Technical Training Academy (ITTA) gives the theoretical; classroom-based education, which is situated in Ext 4, 16 Dakota Cres, Airport Park, Johannesburg, 1401.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• CBMT contract with merSETA and a learnership contract with Haval Kempton Park will apply with all agreements. MIBCO minimum wages apply for CBMT Apprentice

Training program

• Levels 1 – 4: 4 yr. contract
• 5 days in 5 weeks training at ITTA.
• Distance learning program – CDX (this enhances apprentice training by exposure of interactive demonstrations and instructional exercises with tests and practical activities delivered by means of the web at their work environment and at home in their review time.
• Computer based testing and examination.
• Practical ability testing
• MIBCO
• Haval service division on the job experience adjusted to the level of competence accomplished through the CBMT program. Gather evidence to finish your portfolio of evidence as expected by ITTA. Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric (N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science and English (50% are essential)
• Driver’s permit
• Computer literacy
• The candidate will be expected to take a mechanical insight test and pass adequately.
• The candidate will go through trough the standard background verifications prior to being considered for the following stage. The candidate will go through a medical assessment establish fitness for work.
• Candidates that are effective will be put through a Psychometric evaluation and a personal interview.
