The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting sales, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring the accurate processing of transactions within the pharmacy environment.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for:
- Handling payments and balancing sales and receipts according to company procedure.
- Handle all customer queries timeously and escalated to higher management when necessary.
- Be aware of new products and keep your product knowledge up to date.
- Restocking items and organizing the sales floor according to standard operating procedures.
- Regularly conducting price audits to identify and rectify price discrepancies.
- Processing customer payments using the stores’ Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintaining product knowledge to offer advice and recommendations.
- Stay up to date on all promotions and special offers.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Conduct proper housekeeping.
What you bring
Experience and Qualifications
- Grade 12 qualification
- At least 5 months of point of sale / till point experience within a retail environment.
- Proven retail sales experience.

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting sales, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring the accurate processing of transactions within the pharmacy environment.
