Job Description

The Plant Manager is responsible for the full operational, financial, and people management of the Ready-Mix batching plants (Stilfontein, Potch & Others). This includes ensuring efficient production, strict quality control, cost management, plant reliability, and customer service delivery.
The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with SANS standards, and lead a high-performing team to meet production and business targets.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
• Technical qualification in Concrete Technology, Engineering, or Production
• Certificate in Concrete Technology (advantageous)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Materials, or related field (advantageous)

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Ready-Mix plant, batching plant, or production environment
• Proven experience managing plant operations, production, and logistics
• Strong technical knowledge of: Concrete batching processes, Mix design and moisture correction and Quality control and testing procedures
• Experience working within SANS standards and quality systems
• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Experience on Acumatica ERP System (advantage)
• Experience with Batching Software (CE, Batchman, Command Alkon)
