Private Wealth Advisor

About this role

FirstRand (FNB) is looking for a Private Wealth Advisor based in Kimberley. You will look after a group of private wealth clients and help them build, grow and protect their money over the long term.

What you’ll do

• Give each client a clear, holistic view of their finances and suggest suitable banking and financial solutions for their portfolio.
• Run regular client reviews and present the financial services that fit each client’s needs.
• Look for chances to grow revenue and meet your sales and profit targets.
• Advise on fiduciary opportunities, both local and offshore, and on client philanthropy.
• Work well with colleagues across teams to deliver service and new ideas.
• Keep to legislative, audit and internal process requirements.
• Spot ways to reduce waste and improve processes without losing service quality.

What you need

• Experience in banking, wealth management or financial advice is expected for this senior client-facing role.
• Strong understanding of money management principles and financial planning.
• Good sales skills and a focus on meeting targets.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements in financial services.
