We are searching for an experienced Process Relief Operator since the goal of the Relief Operator program is to aid production in lowering the amount of overtime worked by providing relief for employees who are absent due to leave or training.

You will be responsible for the following things as a Process Relief Operator:

Takes over and passes the shift to the next person.
Processes and equipment should be run in accordance with the best operating practices.
Finish the interventions and initiatives that are special to the section as they have been developed and agreed upon for all of the positions that are specific to the section.
Fills in for operators as needed and is responsible for performing all duties associated with these roles.

Helps the foreman and other members of the operating staff with breakdowns and, when necessary, helps supervise other employees.
Make sure the reports are correct by writing down everything that happens in the shift notebook.
Notifies the Foreman of any malfunctions or equipment failures that occur.
Participate in progress meetings with the section training representative, line supervisor, and/or mentor, coach, and take any necessary corrective action and/or extra requirements into consideration.

Takes part in the activities of the shift (5 why problem-solving etc).
It is imperative that you are familiar with the SHEQ requirements of the work.
Determine the SHEQ conditions and dangers that exist, and then conduct the necessary corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with each and every pertinent SHEQ requirement.
Always keeps a high level of cleanliness and order in the workplace in which they are working.
Maintains a consistent schedule of BBS Observations.

What exactly are we trying to find?

Matric with Math and Science or N3 in Pulp Paper are both acceptable qualifications.
The possession of either a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a National Diploma in Pulp and Paper will be beneficial.
0 to 3 months of experience working as a production intern or as a process trainee
