A Synopsis of the Job Advertisement
Perform maintenance tasks by moving, pushing, and carrying equipment spares and tools in order to assist the Artisan in performing these tasks.
Carry out any instruction that is reasonable and to carry it out in a secure manner.
Certain Minimum Prerequisites
Matric or its equivalent
Capacity for Effective Communication
Experience in a Civil Maintenance Environment for a Period of Twelve Months
Capability of performing minor repairs
In-depth familiarity with some tools
Primary Obligations
Equipment and supplies that are transported
once the work has been finished, to clean up the machines and the work area and to make sure that good housekeeping is maintained
Observe the procedures for safe work.
Perform duties related to the job, including assisting the Artisan and the Workshop Assistant, and collecting spares from stores.
Plant inspections should be performed, and any unsafe conditions should be reported to the Supervisor and/or Artisan.
