About this role
Ellahi Consulting is placing sales cadets at motor retail dealerships in Boksburg, on the East Rand. The role is a 12-month workplace experience contract in vehicle sales and parts. It is designed to start a long-term career in motor retail sales.
What you’ll do
- Work with the Dealer Principal and Sales Managers in the dealership.
- Learn the sales process and grow into a full sales professional.
- Complete training modules and assignments as part of your development.
- Learn the product quickly, so you can speak with confidence about vehicles and parts.
- Help customers with friendly, professional service and follow up on leads.
- Keep accurate admin records and work towards several deadlines at once.
- Work the dealership hours that the business requires.
What you need
- A suitable post-matric qualification in Sales, Marketing or Communications.
- A valid South African driver’s licence, Code B (08).
- Computer literacy.
- A persuasive communication style.
- Good attention to detail and time management.
- Good administration skills.
- Workplace experience is advantageous.
- You must not have taken part in the Youth Employment Services (YES) programme.
- Priority will be given to Employment Equity (EE) candidates.
