Sales Consultant

About this role

Hire Resolve is recruiting on behalf of a client in Cape Town. The Sales Consultant will engage prospective clients and sell an investment-related platform that gives direct access to the UK stock exchange.

What you’ll do

• Follow up on leads from the company’s lead-generation partners, such as banks and booking agents.
• Run telephone consultations and give persuasive sales presentations.
• Explain the product, its benefits, pricing and the payment options available.
• Arrange and attend face-to-face client meetings to present the platform and close the sale.
• Manage each sale from first contact through to conversion, while building client trust.
• Hit your sales targets consistently and keep professional relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Cover your own travel to client meetings and the costs that come with it.

What you need

• Fluent English and Afrikaans, with strong communication skills.
• Proven sales experience, with a clear ability to persuade, negotiate and close deals.
• Based in Cape Town.
• A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle.
• A confident, professional and well-presented manner.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working on your own.
• Willingness to work on a commission-driven pay structure.
• Comfortable meeting clients in person when needed.
• Advantageous: experience in financial services and investments, banking, insurance, telecommunications, telesales and lead conversion, or high-value sales.
• Advantageous: a proven track record of closing deals. Candidates from any industry will be considered if they show strong sales ability.
