Job Context

In the provinces of Gauteng, KZN, and Cape Town, Servest Catering, which is a division of the Servest group, is offering exciting opportunities for the positions listed below.

Executive Chef – Pretoria
Sous Chef – Gauteng
Chef – Gauteng
Catering Manager – Gauteng/Cape Town/KZN
Chef – KZN

Requirements on a Minimum

Secondary school or its equivalent
The experience and qualifications that are pertinent
A minimum of two to five years of experience in the same or a comparable position
Capability to produce food of exceptional quality and excellent knowledge of all aspects of the food industry
Capabilities in interpersonal communication and management of teams
A high level of attention to detail Capability to work independently and produce high-quality work while working without supervision
Having a positive attitude and being approachable

Duties and Responsibilities to Consider

Under the responsibility of ensuring that the kitchen complies with all regulations, including those pertaining to sanitary and food safety guidelines
In charge of the procedures for maintaining food hygiene
A determination of the requirements for food inventory, stocking, and ordering
collaborating closely with other members of the kitchen staff at all job levels
