Sessional Worker Part-Time Lecturer: Experiential Brand Building

About this role

Emeris, the educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE), is hiring a sessional, part-time lecturer for its Pretoria Campus. You will teach experiential brand building within the Strategic Brand Communication programme. This is an independent contractor position.

What you’ll do

• Teach experiential brand building as part of the Strategic Brand Communication competencies.
• Plan and run lectures on weekdays, between 08:00 and 17:00.
• Help students understand how customer service works in an education setting.
• Present ideas clearly and confidently to students.
• Manage your own workload and keep to schedules without constant supervision.

What you need

• Essential: An Honours Degree in Branding, Marketing, Advertising or Marketing Communication.
• Essential: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Essential: Excellent presentation skills.
• Essential: Assertiveness and a dynamic working style.
• Essential: Understanding of customer service in education.
• Advantageous: Industry experience in activation planning, especially in experiential marketing or branding.
