Specialist Finance Business Partner

About this role

Telkom, including Openserve, is hiring a Specialist Finance Business Partner based in Centurion. You will work closely with internal business units to support their strategy, operations and financial results.

What you’ll do

• Give business partners clear financial analysis to support strategic and day-to-day decisions.
• Prepare accurate budgets and forecasts that match group financial goals, including bottom-up budget modelling for business cases, OPEX and CAPEX.
• Build financial models for business cases and help with asset management and cost-efficient decisions.
• Set up practical processes for financial governance, business case approval and benefits tracking.
• Check that accounting entries are accurate, complete and follow IFRS, and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse actual results against forecast, explain variances and recommend next steps. Support the year-end external audit.

What you need

• NQF 7 qualification: a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma.
• CA(SA) Chartered Accountant registration.
• AGA(SA) qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, performance management and financial systems.
• Good communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work across functions.
