Store Manager

About this role

Mr Price Home is looking for a Store Manager for its store in Springbok, Northern Cape. This is a permanent, full-time role for someone who wants to lead a retail team and make the store a welcoming place to shop.

What you’ll do

• Lead your team by example and motivate them to give customers excellent service.
• Grow store sales and reach the sales targets set for the store.
• Manage stock levels, visual merchandising and the upkeep of the store.
• Build a positive, team-focused culture in the store.
• Run day-to-day store operations and make sure the store follows company policies.
• Use your business sense and problem-solving skills to keep the store performing.

What you need

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in store or retail management.
• Experience in sales and service management.
• Budgeting skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of the retail trade, the brand, customers and products.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for home decor and design (advantageous).
