About this role

Pedros is opening a brand-new restaurant in Klerksdorp, North West. It is hiring waitrons for the launch team. You will help guests have a good time from the first day the doors open.

What you’ll do

• Welcome guests and show them to their table in a polite, professional way.
• Hand out menus and tell guests about the daily specials.
• Take food and drink orders accurately.
• Bring meals and drinks to the table quickly.
• Check in with guests during their meal to make sure they are happy.
• Clear and reset tables between guests.
• Take payments when needed.
• Handle complaints calmly and keep the dining area clean.
• Work closely with the kitchen and cashier teams.

What you need

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Previous hospitality experience (advantageous).
• Strong people skills, including customer focus, conflict handling and a service-first attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced setting.
• Neat, professional presentation.
