Warehouse Assistant

About this role

BCE FoodService Equipment is looking for a Warehouse Assistant in Roodeplaat, Gauteng. You will help keep the warehouse running well by handling, storing and moving stock accurately.

What you’ll do

• Pick, pack and check stock so that orders are correct.
• Restock shelves and bins when levels run low.
• Keep the warehouse tidy, clean and safe.
• Load and unload products safely.
• Handle delicate and fragile items with care.
• Help check incoming deliveries against what was ordered.
• Prepare goods for shipment or delivery.
• Help with deliveries and collections to and from customers when needed.

What you need

• Grade 12 / Matric or an equivalent qualification.
• Warehouse or distribution experience (highly beneficial).
• Forklift certification (highly beneficial).
• Basic computer skills (advantageous).
• Strong maths and literacy skills.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Attention to detail and good time management.
• A reliable, punctual and responsible attitude.
• Physical fitness to lift and move heavy items.
• Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory processes (advantageous).
