Summary of the GENERAL WORKER Job Advertisement

Within our operations, we are seeking an experienced General Worker to be based at one of our contracts in order to fill a position that has recently become available. For more information about the position that is currently open, please refer to the list of duties and responsibilities as well as the minimum requirements that are provided below.

GENERAL WORKER Minimum Requirements

• Minimum age of 18
• Physically and mentally healthy
• Dependable
• Work in a safe manner, meaning that you must make certain that all safety requirements are met;
• Be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays;
• Have a clean criminal record;
• Must have their own reliable transportation to get to and from work.

GENERAL WORKER Duties & Responsibilities

• Capable of carrying out all reasonable instructions given by the Supervisor;
• Offloading fresh and frozen chicken products;
• Offloading baskets and pallets while adhering to stacking requirements;
• Operating a taillift and palletjack;
• General tasks such as cab cleaning; electrical cable management;
• Following client standards operating procedures;
• Maintaining the cold chain and product integrity during offloading;
• Maintaining the proper company image in transit and at customer premises; for example, ensuring that uniforms are clean and that vehicles
• Providing direction to the drivers while they are backing up
• Performing routine maintenance
