- Matric or its equivalent
The knowledge and abilities of:
- Capabilities in providing outstanding service to customers
- Capable communicators who are native speakers of English (fluency in any additional languages is a plus)
- Indefatigable
- Very high levels of energy
- Extremely goal-oriented and brimming with motivation
Acquired Knowledge:
- It would be beneficial to have previous experience working in retail.
Principal Duties and Obligations
- Strive for excellence in customer service in order to provide a satisfying shopping experience for customers.
- Assist customers in locating the specific items and items that they are looking for in the store
- Respond to inquiries and complaints from customers
- Duties of the Cashier
- Handle payments made in cash and by card
- Lay Bys of the Processing
- Handle refund requests from customers
- Bringing inconsistencies and issues to the attention of the supervisor
- Until the scales are even
- Retailing and Buying
- Check that the stock has accurate prices and that it is displayed correctly.
- Make sure there is an adequate supply of products on the sales floor
- Maintenance of the home
- Maintaining a current awareness of available discounts
- Risk
- Check to see that the products are tagged in accordance with the policy of the company.
- Taking part in stock takes and inventory
- Keep an eye out for shoplifters and other fraudulent activities, and immediately report anything that seems out of the ordinary to management.
- In all aspects of your work, you must consistently demonstrate that you uphold the Ackermans values as well as the company’s policies and procedures.
