Pedros is recruiting for its Wackys store in Klerksdorp, North West. The store is busy, so this job suits people who enjoy fast, active shifts. The role is about running the front of house smoothly and keeping service, quality and productivity on track.

What you’ll do

• Greet customers in a friendly way and make them feel welcome.
• Take orders accurately, whether in store, at the drive-thru or for online pickups.
• Serve food and drinks neatly, correctly and on time.
• Check that each order matches the receipt and any special requests.
• Keep the counter, dining area and serving stations clean and tidy.
• Work with the kitchen team so orders flow smoothly. Follow food safety and hygiene rules at all times.
• Deal with minor customer complaints politely, and pass on bigger issues to a supervisor.
• Restock items such as cups, lids, sauces and napkins.

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic cash-handling and POS (point of sale) skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management and the ability to do several tasks at once.
• A good teamwork attitude and the ability to solve problems and adapt.
• Good personal hygiene and a professional manner.
• Advantageous: previous supervisory experience.
• Advantageous: strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Advantageous: the ability to work on your own.
