Customer Service Advisor - Financial Services

About this role

Huntswood, a ResultsCX company, is hiring customer service advisors in Cape Town. This is a two-month contract. You will support customers of financial products for the US market.

What you’ll do

• Help customers who use a range of financial products.
• Answer queries by phone, webchat and email.
• Solve customer problems accurately and quickly.
• Build good rapport so customers leave happy.
• Look into account problems and fix them where you can.
• Record every interaction and write clear case notes.
• Move between several systems while keeping service levels high.

What you need

• Matric or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• A clear credit record and a clear criminal record.
• Basic computer literacy.
• At least six months of call centre experience, or six months of related experience in financial services, customer service, or debit or credit card support.
• Experience in a multichannel environment (phone, chat and email) is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of the US market. This is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Clear, written case notes.
• An adaptable approach and the ability to find your way around systems quickly.
