Energy Customer Service Advisor

About this role

Huntswood is hiring customer service advisors for its energy team in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. The role is for people who enjoy helping others and who want to work in a supportive, people-first team.

What you’ll do

• Respond to customers with care while keeping service quality and performance targets high.
• Handle large volumes of calls, chats and emails every day.
• Spot problems early and use clear problem-solving steps to help customers fix their issues.
• Work with other teams in the business to get issues resolved.
• Build rapport with customers so they feel heard and supported.
• Grow into taking escalated calls and complaints, following company procedures.

What you need

• Matric or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• A clear credit record and a clear criminal record.
• Basic computer literacy.
• At least 1 year of experience in a gas and electricity campaign.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
• Advantageous: a basic understanding of the UK energy market.
