Seasonal Customer Service Advisor

About this role

Huntswood, a ResultsCX company, is recruiting seasonal customer service advisors in Cape Town. This is a 4-month contract for people who like helping customers and working under pressure. The role runs on rotating night shifts and supports customers through several channels.

What you’ll do

• Help customers by webchat, phone and email.
• Find the root cause of problems and take ownership until they are solved.
• Build good rapport with customers and go the extra mile to leave them happy.
• Write clear case notes that capture each interaction.
• Work through company systems quickly and accurately.
• Analyse issues and recommend sound solutions.

What you need

• Matric or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• A clear credit record and a clear criminal record.
• Basic computer literacy.
• At least six months of call centre experience, or six months of related experience in financial services, customer service, or debit or credit card support.
• Experience working across phone, chat and email, or proof that you can do it.
• Basic understanding of the US market (essential).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good writing skills for case notes.
• An adaptable approach and the ability to move between systems.
