FORKLIFT DRIVER
FORKLIFT DRIVER DUTIES
In charge of receiving, stocking, and delivering the merchandise
Prepare completed goods for transportation to customers.
Maintain quality and quantity performance standards (checking for damages as well as count)
Adhere to warehousing and shipping protocols.
In the warehouse, record and store completed items.
Handle and document defective items from receipt through storage and finally to manufacturing.
Maintain proper cleanliness in the warehouse.
Maintain a safe atmosphere and processes to avoid accidents (target zero accidents)
Responsible for reporting any concerns found for Quality and Food Safety Management at plants where food contact products are manufactured.
Ensure ongoing quality, food safety, environmental, and health and safety management knowledge.
Ensure that housekeeping and general areas promote a clean, orderly atmosphere.
FORKLIFT DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 or comparable education
Working knowledge of the manufacturing industry
Having a valid driver’s license for FLTs
Basic computer abilities will be useful.
Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
Must be available for work on a flexible schedule
Capable of operating a forklift and a crane
