General Worker Deli

About this role

VKB Group, an agricultural company with the GWK brand, is hiring a general worker for its GWK Retail deli in Luckhoff, Free State. The job keeps the store running day to day, so it needs someone who is willing to pitch in wherever help is needed.

What you’ll do

• Keep the deli and the wider premises clean and tidy.
• Do cleaning and general housekeeping tasks.
• Load and offload stock, including helping customers and suppliers when needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures when handling stock.
• Help with stock control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Take on other ad hoc tasks as they come up.

What you need

• Grade 12 or NQF 4.
• Ability to do hard manual labour.
• Excellent health.
• A service-minded attitude and a focus on customers.
• An accurate, thorough and careful way of working.
• A clean, neat approach to work.
• Ability to take initiative.
• Previous work experience (advantageous).
